Spring-Summer 2022: The 4th occupation of US GO-SHIP P02 across 30°N is underway. Science and visitors spent nearly a week in Guam in their hotel rooms to meet Covid protocols before boarding the R/V Revelle which is docked at the Navy Base. Instrumentation was unpacked and and set up in the onboard lab spaces where work ensued for the next 7 weeks as Leg 1 crossed the western North Pacific. After a stop in Honolulu, Leg 2 personnel have now taken over and continue the effort for the coming 5 weeks before finally reaching San Diego in early July. Please find the clickable weekly reports below.
Cruise blog: Remember that you can also follow the expedition through our student-led GO-SHIP/GO-BGC cruise blog which has now been updated with the posts from Leg 2!
