U.S. GO-SHIP Executive Council

The executive council for US GO-SHIP sees that the program of repeat hydrography, ocean carbon, and tracer measurements is completed to fulfill the scientific objectives of GO-SHIP.

Contact the committee co-chairs (Brendan Carter and Alison Macdonald) for information on participation or for incorporation of a Level 3 measurement or a measurement that is not on the list of Core Measurements.

Interim project manager, Alison Macdonald works with the committee to coordinate program activities carried out by US academic institutions, such as ship-time requests for non-NOAA ships, and pre-cruise information and logistics, with ODF on organization of the shipboard physical oceanography team, and with CCHDO on oversight of data reporting.
